Event Committee
Our event committee is dedicated to creating events that support the building of our community. They plan, organize and host all of the events that BVB sponsors throughout the year.
Facebook Support Group Committee
Our Facebook Support Group Committee has a huge responsiblity of supporting community members that visit our social media resources page. They filter and approve messages, redirect to resources and offer daily support to our followers.
Youth Coalition
One of our newest projects here at BVB is our youth adult partnership coalition. This group is designed to have both youth and adults as leaders to help bridge the gap in our community with the two diverse age groups. We take the approach of learning from each other to impact change in our area. Our goal is to empower youth to find their path through leadership.
Community Closet Committee
Our Client Closet is where we give back to the community that we serve. We offer the clients that we serve the chance to come into the closet quarterly to retrieve free items for their families. This committee ensures that it is open, cleaned and stocked for the clients when needed. The Client Closet is stocked solely by donations from people in this community.
Scholarship Committee
Our scholarship committee is tasked to assist local high school seniors be prepared for college & the job force. They will kick off the scholarship program in the year of 2023-2024 school year.
When #BuildingTheBrazos, it takes an amazing team to do so. All of these committees' members are volunteers and building the Brazos is a monumental task that requires an exceptional team. The members of these committees are all volunteers who generously dedicate numerous hours to give back to our community and spend countless hours pouring back into our community.
